The American Marine shipyard (now Grand Banks Yachts) invented the « trawler » style that is inspired by New England fishing boats. It is one of the most important worldwide successes of the yachting industry

These boats are full of character and always admired with their slightly vintage style, their interior in solid teak, a bow that rises slightly, a wide and varnished stern and the visible planking of the hull. They are safe ships in bad weather, habitable, voyageable, comfortable and silent.

It is an art of living shared by thousands of people on all the seas of the world.

First made entirely of wood in Hong Kong, then of fiberglass in Singapore, these vessels benefit from an exemplary and durable design quality. They are over 50 years old, yet still in perfect condition, regularly sailing in the whole world. Today, 5,000 Grand Banks have been built, several hundred of which are sailing in the Mediterranean.
